I love it when I get pics from the new owners of my goats,
about a month ago -
Edelweiss, GoGoGirl, Rhapsody, and MariMulberry
- went to a nice family on a nearby farm with assorted critters.
The family also brought in a Pyrenees puppy named, Pearl.
A few days ago, 5 of our goats went to a new home. The new owners, Dan and Janet had us over for dinner last night so we could see for ourselves their setup for the goats. The cute goat house has SOLAR! Mike and I knew Dan's brother Ted, and that's how we got hooked up. Their neighbors, Jenna and Matt have a couple of wethers and may get some dairy goats one day. We had such a fun evening and wish all goats had such a loving home.
In the NC Appalachian Mtns, NW NC. A full-blown nester although I have to earn a living away from home. We live on 30 acres, cannot see any neighbors. I like to hang out with my critters - a few chickens, quite a few Pearl & Pied Guineas, 22 Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goats, 3 hair sheep, 3 Muscovy ducks, a Irish Terriers Brawn, a pair of Great Pyrenees livestock-guardian dogs, JackBadger and BarbaraJean. Mike and I are Life Masters at Bridge.
