eggs, Wheaton Marans, video
Collected eggs this morning. the greenish ones are from the Marans/Ameraucana crosses, the brown ones are from the Cuckoo Marans, a turkey egg up front.
Wow! You've got a lot of melt up there on the hills. We're thawing up here too, but, not nearly as much. What's the temperature in your part of the world?
Ooh! I'm going to request that my lady get some stripey stockings like yours!!!! I'd love to rub my head on those too! Goat kisses to all those handsome bucks from ME!
Hi Joanna, I loved the video! The animals are looking good. We have a goat or 2 that needs a little time out once in a while too. The pork roast sounds just right on a cold winter's day.
Joanna, I loved spending time with you on the farm this morning. The goaties are hilarious - their antics reminded me of Emma and how she loves to rub against me. I thought that was Franklin's beautiful tail fan in there!

ReplyDeleteSundance is a hoot! Love hearing the turkeys in the background.
ReplyDeleteMiss Chef did a lamb shoulder roast in the crockpot the same way--only not w/barbeque sauce!
your eggs have been beautifully arranged!
ReplyDeleteGotta love a good scratching post. Beautiful eggs!
ReplyDeleteI love seeing your farm and all your critters! I am glad they all made it through the cold. Hope those goatie boys get to behaving themselves soon!
