I want some of those!!! I saw spikes for shoes/boots a couple of years ago at Walmart but didn't get them. We could use them all over around here, but especially going up the cabin road. Right now, it's cleared off, but sometimes....
Hello Joanna, Just caught up on two post and my sister was here and she loved your post and video's. You are precious, the little laugh after pointing the video camera on your pajama pants was so cute. Thank you again for sharing the videos as you are a ray of sunshine into our lives.
I'm sooo glad you got the spikes. They look much like the YakTraks I told you about. The less expensive "grippers" work fairly well, but definitely won't last as long as yours. Now the only thing you need to do is not run the camera while you are sliding down your driveway! Be careful, my friend. Mahala
Hah! Those are great. I went to Bed, Bath and Beyond today, to get one thing. Came home with four things, which isn't uncommon when I hit that store.
One of the things that I bought was a set of those spikes. Not the same brand, but the same idea. And, when I saw them, the first thing I thought was those were the things that Joanna bought and that I really should have a pair also.

ReplyDeleteYou're one spiffy farm mama!

I would like to have some of those too! They would be great to wear when the deck is icy or wet and slippery. Staying upright is important!
ReplyDeleteGreat move! I didn't know those were out there.

ReplyDeleteThose are cool! If my son saw those he would want them just because they look cool,we don't even get snow!
ReplyDeleteI am glad you got them even if they were costly, those videos of you sliding down on the ice made everyone worry !

Lordy. You are totally ON it! Those are serious. Don't look too cumbersome either. And you made me want new boots. LOL
ReplyDeletekinky boots!!!!
ReplyDeleteI thought my Yak Tracks were cool but those take the cake!

Wow! Those are way cool and simple to put on, too. They remind me of crampons....the spikes that ice climbers wear on their feet.
ReplyDeleteBummer about the cost, but if they save a trip to the hospital, then they are worth it!
Now I can sleep a little better not worrying so much about you breaking a hip. gah!

Good!! Glad to hear there will be no more slip and falls for you. Those spikes look really nice.
