package from Maine's Achorn Farm
I received a nice package this morning from Kim at Achorn Farm. I got real lucky and won her GiveAway. Everything in the box, if not from their farm, was made in Maine - dog treats (Brawn, Bliss, and Henry are barking a big thank you), scrubber pad, lavender soap, Herbal Popcorn (that won't make it through the night), garlic from the garden, and the crème de la crème "Liquid Gold" maple syrup tapped from their trees, be sure to read that link. I didn't know if the GiveAway winner would get some of the syrup but I sorta hinted that I'd like to receive something good to eat.
Tonight for supper, I made some french toast using some of our fresh eggs and goats milk, then I gently topped it with the Liquid Gold, oh my people. Mike was eating it and I was hearing ummm, awwww. I had to just make myself STOP eating. Kim, you were too generous but we appreciate it from the bottom of our stomachs.
Your new babies are just toooooo cute

Awww Joanne that sure was a sweet post. I knew the syrup would be your fav.....nothing like it. Followed by that darn popcorn that doesn't seem to last more than an hour in our house. Love your babies! Nothing cuter then baby goats! ~Kim
ReplyDeleteArent kids just the greatest? I am always amazed that they hop on their moms like she is a rock. And the moms just tolerate it.
ReplyDeleteFrom our blog you asked the breed of goat that Sue was holding. From that pic Ruthy does look like a Tog. She is really a full Alpine. She has wattles. I love wattles!
