Sandy http://springlakefarm.blogspot.com/ and I went on a road trip to Nickelsville, VA on Monday. Sandy was going to buy two livestock-gaurdian puppies and I just going along for the ride.

I'm not sure what happened, but on the return trip, Sandy had bought one puppy, and I had bought a puppy from Travis.

Sandy bought the two-eyed white one.

Jack with Corky and Fizz. Jack is very skiddish around us and seems content around the goats; exacty the traits we're looking for in a livestock-guardian dog. He whimpers now when the little bucklings leave him alone.

Jack was born with only one eye.

I arrived home last night lugging the puppy and Mike laughed, "what fool would buy a one-eyed livestock-guardian dog?"

Some of the neighbors stopped by saying they were welcoming him but they were really the kind of nosy folks who wanted to find out about his business.

Jack was glad to see 'em move on.

I practiced with the new camera a few minutes after I got home from work.

You will never be able to convince me that the brothers don't know that's their Daddy or that Cahoot doesn't realize that's his sons. Cahoot will be 2 years old on 3/31/11 and the brothers will be 1 year old on 3/31/11.
