How many versions of potato salad are out there? Well, here's anther one. Mike loves it because this potato salad has such a vinegary kick. Years ago, some friends with a German hertitage would make it for us when we visited with them. I've actually had to receate it because I don't have the recipe.
Here, while the potatoes are cooking
1/2 c of apple cider vinegar
3/4 c of Splenda (or 1/2 cup of sugar)
then added 4 raw eggs (from your girls) and mix

Hey, nice presentation! My mom used to make this fairly often, especially for church potlucks and the luck. Being about 3/4 German, she probably has a natural predilection for it! Another summer favorite of hers is parslied potatoes, which I think she also adds vinegar or lemon juice to.
I just put that same jar of Mayo back in my fridge not 5 minutes ago. Is there a portal between our kitchens??
Jamey brought home some "mustard" potato salad from Wal-Mart the other day. It was SO mustardy (that isn't a word is it) that it was like eating a spoonful of mustard straight from the bottle. Inedible. Your potato salad sounds and looks so much better!
Recipe filed for future use. Thanks for the picture of Franklin. ;-D
Oh a family favorite here as well. I add a helping of fresh cooked diced bacon.
Thanks for the recipe,
Mal
My husband would love the vinegar part and the mustard. I'll have to try it soon.
Have a great day.
