The Vet took tweezers and pinched the toes on the good paw, BJ reacted. The tweezers on the toes of the bad leg, no reaction. I sorta took that as bad news, but the Vet is hopeful.
Jack and BarbaraJean are our livestock-guardian dogs. As you know, from birth, Jack has been blind in one eye. If the feeling doesn't come back in BarbaraJean's leg, it will have to be removed. We could make up some tall tales about our pair of LGD's, as in, one only has one eye, and the other only has three legs.

I love the pink cast! So glad to know BJ is doing better! I'll cross my fingers that she keeps her leg.
Thanks so much for the updates. It is so good to see her looking bright eyed & bushy tailed! Enjoyed seeing the others too. Dear, sweet Sweet Pea is as pretty as ever.
Thanks for the update. I am glad that she is doing a bit better. I will keep my fingers crossed on the other paw. Maybe it's just nerve damage and needs time to heal..
So glad she is alive and on the mend. It didn't look good when you first posted the news. Even with one three legged and one one eyed, I bet they make an awesome pair!

I just went back and read all the updates on BJ. She really looked horrible those first few days. The new pic is great. I hope she continues to recover to a FULL recovery.
