ChiliPepper had a single buckling this morning, 3/9/16. It's interesting, her daughter, ChiliBean, also had a single buckling, 2/27/16. 2016 so far - 0 does and 2 bucks. My red ones start out brown and turn red as they mature.

My girls are proliferating. I collected these eggs today and added a couple of 'em into my veggie/sausage pie.

Our girls free range but we penned them up this morning
so we could catch 'em to shave udders which they
don't like having done.

Disbudding just takes a couple of minutes,
then the kid is right back to playing.

First 2016 goat kid, Beano, has arrived.

First 2016 goat kid for BooneDocksWilcox. Beano is the grandson of our highest appraised doe, ChiliPepper VEVV 87 as a 3rd freshener. ChiliBean will be appraised for the first time in May 2016. .
