not pictured in this photo, our 16 year dog, Henry, who is laying on a dog bed

My dear Franklin always sees me off to work in the mornings. Anytime we open the door, coming out of the house, we hear an enthusiastic gobble-gobble, like GOOD MORNING!

Ordered glasses online from ZenniOptical, I got the "works" for $85 which included shipping.

Got in some goat supplies from Caprine Supply. I know, some of y'all are thinking CHEMICALS and I agree with ya but then I swing back and forth on the fence when it comes to the good health of my goats. My mentor, Carol at Kids Corral, uses these on her goats and her goats just look like the picture of good health.

Upcoming Goat Shows we plan to compete in:

Wow..those are a pair of hardworking dogs! ha...look like an old married couple in their side by side recliners. On your glasses, are they bifocals or just regular glasses? I need to get a new pair, but I fear that bifocals will soon be in my life. It's also been cool and rainy here, but no frost (yet). I think it might warm up by the weekend.

Poor little doggies. Sometimes my Minnie, Minnie follows me to the door in the mornings. Then she looks at me like, "What? I can't go with you?" And I feel bad. I'd bring her and Max to work with me if I could. They'd both be good.

I have returned from my long blogging break and I am so glad to see that you're still blogging. I've always enjoyed the pictures of your animals (especially the goats) and all of their silly antics. I love your Red Bourbon Turkeys. We have an order in for a couple. We're really anxious to add them to our little homestead here.

Ahhhh, the good life! Your doggies have it. I wonder what a goat show is like? You'll need to take a lot of pictures when you go, and educate us all.

I love all your animals, Franklin is cute, even though I am really scared of turkeys, and all the other big birds like geese and swans.

Isn't it nice to have your 'animal family' to see you off and back home? Neat pictures...

Have fun at the shows. Next weekend, I'm going to our first of the season. And I use a few chemicals myself.

YOu gotta do what's best for your goats.
Great deal on those glasses. I had no idea you could buy glasses online. I'm so behind the times, eh?

Lovely way you start each day. :)

Gobble-Gobble!

I wanted to order from McMurray this year, but I just couldn't swing it. Maybe next year.

I got a pair of glasses for my daughter from Zenni. With shipping my TOTAL was under $13.
I recommend them to everyone!
