Sleigh Cluck and Video

Sleigh Cluck (click on sleigh cluck)
The Chickens are out for a little winter ride in the snow and carol clucking! (And in their Dickens-like outfits no less -- you know what that makes them, don't you? Dickens Chickens!)
*****************************************************
I didn't write this about Christmas Cookies but it's certainly my way of thinking.
Christmas Cookie Rules...

1. If you eat a Christmas cookie fresh out of the oven, it has no calories because everyone knows that the first cookie is the test and thus calorie free.
2. If you drink a diet soda after eating your second cookie, it also has no calories because the diet soda cancels out the cookie calories.
3. If a friend comes over while you're making your Christmas cookies and needs to sample, you must sample with your friend. Because your friend's first cookie is calories free, (rule #1) yours is also. It would be rude to let your friend sample alone and, being the friend that you are, that makes your cookie calorie free.
4. Any cookie calories consumed while walking around will fall to your feet and eventually fall off as you move. This is due to gravity and the density of the caloric mass.
5. Any calories consumed during the frosting of the Christmas cookies will be used up because it takes many calories to lick excess frosting from a knife without cutting your tongue.
6. Cookies colored red or green have very few calories. Red ones have three and green ones have five - one calorie for each letter. Make more red ones!
7. Cookies eaten while watching "It's a Wonderful Life" have no calories because they are part of the entertainment package and not part of one's personal fuel.
8. As always, cookie pieces contain no calories because the process of breaking causes calorie leakage.
9. Any cookies consumed from someone else's plate have no calories since the calories rightfully belong to the other person and will cling to their plate. We all know how calories like to CLING!
10. Any cookies consumed while feeling stressed have no calories because cookies used for medicinal purposes don't have calories.

Slow down Mike or let her lay down and just grab a foot. Uck! We have a snowstorm predicted here on our Ozarks Ponderosa over the next couple of days. This farm chick is not a white Christmas sorta' of gal. The ice we get is even worse. Nope, 'just don't like winter at all.

Take care, be save and have a wonderfully blessed Christmas!!!

To get down that hill you need a sled. Just sit down and slide.

Let Mike pull you back up. ;)

Joanna, one look at those photos and I had to run get a sweater. It's supposed to be in the mid-70s here for Christmas, but don't be too jealous... there's also scattered showers in the forecast. Hope we stay dry! And hope you stay toasty.

Merry Christmas my sweet funny friend. Muchas smoochas to Franklin please.

PS: You are an A Class hoot. Love love love the video and your deep southern drawl. Glad you didn't do any snowy face plants... or did you?

The byplay between you and Mike had me laughing. Reminds me of my mom and dad...she goes all stiff on the ice, and he pretends he's gonna fall down while he's helping her across. Mom's the only one who's not amused. Maybe she will be more amused by the Dickens Chickens.

Now I have to go figure out how to post that Cookie Calorie Counter on Facebook...it needs to be shared.

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!
