We loaded up 11 goats in the trailer this morning and headed an hour away to Dr. Beckworth's. Because we're gonna cross state lines to Clemson, SC, each goat needed a health certificate from the Vet. $16 later (yes, just $16), we got the heath cetificates and a fecal check. Good news, after the fecal check, the Doc said he didn't see any stomach worms which is very rare in goats. Apparently, our worming medicine, Valbazen, does it's job.
We enlarged the buck pen and now the boys are tickled to be on a lot of lush greens.

Wow, the baby goats are sure growing fast.
It's got to be so much fun at your place, with all of the baby critters around.
With all the live entertainment around, I doupt I would ever get anything done at your place.

Chamonix and Clarence have the most beautiful goatie colors! Very cute baby turkey! We hope to get some of those ourselves! Weeee!
That is good about no stomach worms. Goats are hard to keep worm free.
They all are looking good. I know they are enjoying green stuff. Our goats were so happy when it greened up around here.
I want to try turkey poults soon.
Have a great weekend.

Holy cow those babies are growing like weeds!
Awww, the chickies are so cute. So, how many Bourbon Red turkeys do you have? And how is Franklin these days?
I've never seen a poult that small. Amazing how they look just like chickens now. And they will look so different when they get bigger!

Are you going to be at the Clemson show this weekend? We'll be there too but with no goats. I need to get a fecal done soon.
