It's cold outside, the local weatherman says this weekend the highs will be in the 30's and lows in the 20's with snow showers and squalls.

I still have eye infections especially in the right eye, the new drops don't seem to be helping. I was excited about joining the gym and now I haven't been since Monday because the infection feels like I have a piece of glass in my eye.

Clara and Chamonix are going to a new home tomorrow. The buyer sounds like an interesting fella who is trying to move closer to self sufficiency. I'll cry when Clara departs our farm, she's been a good, ole girl. When I sell one goat, I always prefer to sell two so they can go together on the buddy system, and Chamonix and her Mama, Clara, are very close.

Yummy!
Good idea to sell them as buddies. Love the picture of them both.
Goodbye, Clara & daughter. We will all miss you.
Joanna, if you haven't already, please call your doctor about your eye. You can't mess with your eyesight!
Gosh! Now I have to make hash with fried eggs!! I've been driving by our fire station with a Chili Cook Off sign in their lawn for three weeks, finally I succumbed, I just couldn't take it anymore, ran to Winn Dixie stocked up and made a huge vat of chili! The power of suggestion is a strong thing! More importantly---good advice from Dot--Call your doctor--don't mess around with this!
I love that picture, what beautiful, colorful goats! I am sure they will be happy in their new home but it can be hard to let them go I know! We downsized the herd this year and it was tough for sure.
