camera found on Thanksgiving Day

This afternoon, we were heading to Tina's for dinner, and Mike finally found my camera stuffed down in my recliner. Yeah! I've been fretting about that camera for several days.
*************************************
Mike and I ate a Thanksgiving meal at Mary's on Sunday, now we ate another one today at Tina's.  So we've been making out quite well. Tina and George's home is just a mile down the road from us. Mary and Sandy live below us, and Mike and I live up a goat path in a holler.

Regional Note: One feature of Upper Southern English and specifically of Appalachian English is its pronunciation of the final unstressed syllable in words such as hollow, window, and potato as (r). Holler, winder, and tater are merely variant pronunciations reflected in spelling. As a noun, holler has the specific meaning in the Appalachians of "a small valley between mountains": They live up in the holler underneath Big Bald Mountain.
Mike's oldest sister, Sherry, wasn't there. She and her husband, Charles, were out and about somewhere. Sherry lives in the same county but a few miles away.

Tina and George's oldest son, Savva, was with his wife, Steph, at her parents home in Durham, NC. They live up here in the same county too.

Demetre, the youngest son, was recovering from last night's wrestling match.

Do you see Demetre Kostis listed? He won the 138lb wrestling weight class at the tournament yesterday. He had to wrestle 3 opponents.

and look at him today with that black eye! Also, he got a bloody gash on his forehead during the semifinal and had a big wrap around his head during the final.

He was going with his uncle tonight at 9PM to WalMart's Black Friday shopping, we were kidding Demetre to tell his friends that he got that black eye from fighting with WalMart's Black Friday customers.

BarbaraJean is doing great after having her leg removed. I'll be able to get some photo's of her now that I've got my camera back.
