I'm in the mustard!

I'm in the mustard! What a pleasant surprise to receive a big box in the mail from an ole chicken buddy, Matt, that I haven't spoken to in a few years. Matt has been reading my blog, found the mustard at the BigLots in his home town, and sent me 6 jars. Coworkers keep coming in my office asking why I have all this mustard on my desk, I open a jar and have 'em take a whiff, and they're sold. I sure hope Matt saved a jar for himself.

Mmmm, I can almost smell it! I'll have to look for it whenever I next venture out to a "big" city where they might have a store carrying it! With all our snow right now, I'm not going to make my monthly trek to Walmart (35 mi each way).

Enjoy!!!

What a great friend. I love sweet and spicy mustards. I also love just about any mustards at all. There is store in Albuquerque that specializes in mustards and has a table with jars open with crackers for dipping and tasting. Oooh! I could stay in there for hours eating mustard. lol!

I sympathize with you on the burning of bridges with friends situation. The same happens with me, too. But I tend to have very high standards for my friends....honesty, loyalty, kindness, and a generous spirit are mandatory. Unfortunately many 'friends' just don't stack up to my expectations. But I'd rather have just a couple friends withall those qualities than a bucket full of mediocre friends.

Quality over Quantity every time.

Serendipity, baby!!

Don't ever be embarrassed by your depression, hon. While not chronic, I've battled it too, and I think the worst part of it is thinking it's somehow your fault for not just "shaking out of it." Can't do it on your own, that's for dayam sure. Keeping in touch w/people through your blog sounds like good therapy to me, though!

Enjoy your mustard...did you get much snow? We're getting more rain down here.

I was actually hunting for a jar of Peanut butter when I saw the mustard and thought of you. Kind of odd, I guess.

If you smiled when you opened the box then I am happy I picked it up. I think I over packed it a bit, but I don't trust USPS.
