Hi, I'm waaay behind on catching up with my blogging friends but I'll get around. The sun came out this weekend and I couldn't bare to be inside. BTW, if you need any mud, come help yourself, we've hit the motherlode.
Also, this cheap ($3,500) trailer, THE GOAT MOTEL, is 9hrs one way away in Alabama but I think we may buy it. Certainly nothing fancy but when we're parked in hot parking lots at goat shows this summer, while hooked up to our generator, Mike and I would have a cool place to crash. Actually he's more sociable than me, sometimes I just like a quiet place to relax. I'm hoping we like it well enough inside to spend nights in it while parked at 2-day shows. And at the shows, you have to arrive very early, and get all the goats registered.
Up on that white roof on each side, I'd like some lettering going across - BooneDocksWilcox.

Wow! That's a nice one.
It sure looks like it will work!
Hey now! That looks like just the thing..I always wanted a sleeping quarters/animal quarters combination. I will have to go check ebay just for the fun of it now!!
Thumbs up on the A/C, definately. Plus, it'll match your barn!
That looks like a GREAT buy!!! It should sure make showing a lot more fun...
Ooh! The goats will enjoy that lovely large soft bed. hee hee hee hee
Very nice! You and the goats will travel in comfort.
The bed looks big enough to hold you, Mike, and a goat - maybe! Seriously, it sounds like a great idea.

The real question is....are the goats gonna be willing to sleep with you?

Oooh, trailers are such fun and having one where you can have your beloved animals right along with you just seems like a win-win situation to me! :-)
What an awesome find! Wish I had a shot at something like that around here...
Wow, that looks like it is exactly what you are looking for. A complete set up. Can't get much more perfect than being able to sleep right next to the critters. I always wanted a big barn where lived upstairs and all the animals were down below. The thought of listening to them would be heaven.
You're my winner. I just need to know where to send it.

That is so cool. By the way love your other posts and pictures.
Thanks for taking us along with you!

That is so cool! I wish I had a LQ or a bed for my horse trailer. I hope you're able to get it and it works well for you.
Oh, and don't worry about not checking in at the blogs. When you've got some nice Spring weather, you just got to go with it and take advantage of it. I did the same this weekend, too.
And now it's snowing and has been since Sunday night. Bleh!

Looks like a gem to me. A nice little get away to put your feet up and relax away from the crowds.
I like it! It looks like a good buy.
I know what you mean about catching up. I am still trying to do that too.
We had so much going on lately.
On the Grit magazine. The HenPals nest box post is just on-line.
That is o.k. about the mud. We have sandy soil here but I grew up where the red Ga. clay was. And we lived on a dirt road. Sometimes the road was so muddy the school bus had trouble getting through.
Have a great day.

Thats a lot of work you and hubby are doing for goats at shows SOUNDS like fun
Joanna! What a fabulous idea! You and the goats sharing accommodations! And it looks just perfect. Very comfortable and just the right size.
I think it would be a great investment for you, but I just wish it were closer.
PS: I would love to see you and Mike show your goats some time. How fun would that be?
Looks like a winner to me! We used to love to attend fairs and stay in our motor home when the girls were showing goats in 4-H.
This setup looks even better. We had to haul the goats separately.
