[back of my truck this morning] I suppose somebody somewhere finds this new snow funny, but I can tell ya that anyone who lives up here doesn't find it a bit humorous. The March winds are howling, which makes it so cold it hurts to be outside.
I don't want Clara to deliver her babies in this type of weather although Mike has her little nursery fixed, a small, newly cleaned stall with a heat lamp inside. He showed it to her last night but she wasn't ready to stay in there yet, she returned to her buddies. Wish I had a barn camera at my desk here at work.

Breakfast Bake Update - I made it again last night substituting hash browns for bread and it's really good, I also added in some chopped kale (for green), brought it for lunch today, .

This morning, I was just wondering how difficult it would be to set up a little web camera to watch Rosie from work! She always goes into the kitchen and pulls things off the counter, and I would LOVE to see her in action.
Of course, Clara might be more important...
You know, Joanna, they have video baby monitors now. Maybe that would be worth looking into instead of expensive surveillance equipment?
That snow would be the end of me. I'm having a hard enough time coping with our crappy cold weather in Florida. At least the sun is out today and the forecast is improving.
Hang in there chica.
Holey Moley,
I know you are getting weary from all that snow. We are kinda stuck indoors, the wind gusts here are up to 45 MPH. Its beautiful outside but 'flying stuff' makes it impossible to enjoy.
I think baby monitors would work....? Maybe, try craiglist, free cycle or ebay. HUMMMMMMsssss
Oh, MY! That IS depressing...
Wishing you sunshine and warm breezes!
Hope that snow melts for you fast! March is always such a funny month with the weather!
I see no humor in it either! Looks like you are getting the front that moved through here over the weekend. I know what you mean, about the girls having their babies in that kind of weather too. Heres hoping the sunshine we are having today reaches you soon!

You sound like me last week...I was getting pretty darn tired of it all. Amazing what sunshine does to make a person forget their problems. We finally saw the sun a week ago and everyone was saying how long it had been. About 3 weeks...that was enough to make everyone start wanting bite peoples heads off. It was getting really depressing. On the barn cam...I wish my son lived closer ...I would have him set you up. He has a camera hooked to an extra cheap computer which sits in the barn...then he did a website with a link for me to control the camera from my office. It works amazing and if it hadn't been for it working a couple of weeks ago I would of burnt down the barn. Darn Heat lamps and crazy wild babies..WATCH That!!! Those babies can climb anything and chew anything and if you don't have your extra security safety net of double duty wire attached to everything, they can figure it out.
Good luck and really anxious to see how Clara does!!
March is not one of my favorite months. Last week was beautiful, but so far this week it has been cold and rainy. Since March came in like a lamb, we're quite prepared to see it go out like a lion this year. I just hope we don't get any stinkin' blizzard. It's been known to happen.
P.S. Chocolate is always good as a temporary lifter upper.
I hope you warm up soon. It has been a long winter down here too but we don't have the snow to deal with. It is cool and breezy today.
Tomorrow is suppose to be much nicer. I hope your tomorrow is warmer too and Clara can wait until then to deliver.
Have a great day.
Pam
You got more snow!!! More snow!! What the... I can only imagine how unhappy you are now. It'll be Spring before you know it. I can't believe you got more snow!
