Bourbon Red Turkeys & Nigerian Dwarf Dairy Goats in nothwestern North Carolina Appalachians
Our turkeys are just pets, although we enjoy eating their eggs. I fiercely love those boys.

Okay...I have to be honest... It looks FREEZING! Brrrrr...
Do the goats have any issues with the cold weather?
Also, I never thought of a turkey laying an egg. I don't know why - just one of those things I never considered. Are they much bigger than chicken eggs? Hmm... I'll have to look up some pictures. Do they taste like chicken eggs?
Your boys are stunning!

THAT's IT!!!
I'm not fat ~ I'm just COLD!
;-)
Thank you for your lovely video Joanna! We love those!
Aw, Pixie's a darling! Brrr, I'm glad I'm not a goat, my head my disappear in all my "fluff" when I get cold.
Most of the year I miss being in Boone, but working with the chickens is exhausting in the snow. This wind and cold is bad enough down here. I hope you feel better. I was sick for 3 weeks and am finally almost better.

Nancy K beat me to it - I don't know why I missed your blog on Sunday!!! Yep. I'm not overweight (I hate the F** word) - I'm just bunched up for the cold!! We've got the freezing temps here in Iowa - not much over 20 today - but I'm still waiting for our first real snow.
