grape, picnik, 2nd video

Butternut Squash Salad - with walnuts and cranberries - tasty from EarthFare, our health food store. Our Farmers Market, The High Country Market, is located next door in their parking lot.

I love all things grape. The 100% grape juice is 160 calories per 8 oz and I have to switch to a CranGrape for 5 calories pe 8 oz.

My parents loved their Port Wine, also made some home brew, but I never acquired a taste for wine, however, now that my folks have passed, I like to drink my juice from their Crystal (is that how you spell it?)

Have ya ever tried Sunflower Seed Nut Butter? Not any cheaper on the calories than peanut butter butI just wanted to try some. It's fair.

Lisa over at Laughing Orca Ranch was talking about Picnik, which I'd never heard of before, and it seems very user friendly. See the two photo's below.

Prior to going to the Farmers Market, we clean the eggs with baby wipes. We don't refrigerate the eggs, they sit in the cool feed room in the barn.

I love your video Joanna!! So great to have a narrated walk with your goats and to see your place. I love the red roof and the beautiful yellow and gold leaves - autumn is just the prettiest season :)

I could eat a tub of that Butternut Squash Salad. They didn't by any chance supply a recipe with that, did they?

I was trying to post the link but unsuccesful so here, I think it was something like this

Roasted Butternut Squash with Apples
•20 oz container, peeled and cubed butternut squash or 1-1/2 lbs. butternut squash, peeled, seeded and cubed
•1 large onion, peeled and diced
•1 Tbsp. olive oil
•salt and pepper, to taste
•3 Tbsp. red wine vinegar
•3 Tbsp. maple syrup
•1 Granny Smith apple, peeled and cubed
•1/4 cup chopped walnuts
•1/4 cup dried cranberries, such as Craisins
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Toss squash, onion and olive oil together in a large roasting pan. Season with salt and pepper. Roast for 45 minutes or until browned and tender. Whisk together red wine vinegar and maple syrup. Pour over squash. Roast another 5-10 minutes.

Remove squash from oven. Toss with apples, walnuts and cranberries.

ROFLMBO!! I TOTALLY LOVE your video. Hearing your voice made me smile. I adore your accent, it's cute! Reminds me of thick, sweet molasses. :)

It was great to see all your goaties enjoying the leaves....and you may not have any red leafed trees, but your beautiful rustic barn makes up for that by far!

It was fun to see my blog listed in this post, too. Your photos from Picnik turned out great!

I'm so glad you're doing the video thing - this one was really delightful. Emma's cat curiosity got the better of her when she heard the sound that went with it! She's right by my keyboard.

Absolutely intersting and beautiful photos. I especially love the hen and the eggs!

I drink a 4 oz glass of wine late in the evenings, no more, no less. Red wine is good for the heart and cholesterol. It does take some getting used to. The first time I tried it I crinkled up my nose!

Your goats look wonderful!

I'll have to try the low calorie crangrape.

Love the video! I like your narrating with it. I'll have to try it. (I have the same accent too).

Have a good day.
