Scarecrow Girl

Isn't she darling? Look at those pigtails.

No, don't eat Scarecrow Girls feet!

Stop! poor thing.

Speaking of feet, all 13 goats got a hood trimming today. In the morning, we'll be down to 11 goats, Gypsy and CoCo are going to their new home. :-( but I feel sure they are going to a forever, loving home.

This morning, we went to town and walked on the Greenway, this section is sorta new. Mike has the Irish Terriers, Brawn and Bliss. Does Mike look a little slimmer? He's down 10 lbs and I'm down 6 lbs, it's been not quite a month since we started dieting. Both of us have a long ways to go but at least we've gotten started.

The Town is putting a pond in here.

Back home, here is Chubby Cubby.

We let the males out to browse. Cubby, Sundance, and Cahoot. Sundance is behind the brambles, Dr. Beckworth wethered/castrated Sundance on Friday and he's doing fine.

MilkDud didn't do much picking, he couldn't take his mind off the "women."

Have you tried these Yoplait Delights? Oh my, they're delicious. In Boone we don't have a SuperWalMart but when I went to Jefferson to pick up Sundance on Friday, I stopped in to their SW and these were $2 for a 4-pack. So far, I've tried the Lemon Torte and the Berry Creme.

Dr. Oz recommended pistachio's, I love 'em, I actually prefer the ones fresh out of the shells. Per serving, pistachios have more antioxidants than green tea. That should make tea green with envy.

Anything that makes green tea envious is okay with me.

Yes! Mike looks slimmer and so do you! Which I have to imagine since you've never posted a photo of yourself Joanna! For shame, for shame. I bet that pound weight loss looks awesome on you!!!

Keep up the good work you two, and thanks for the tip about Yoplait Delights! I'll have to look for them at Publix. I have gotten very fond of plain Greek yogurt, and have experimented with adding trail mix and nuts and honey to it. That is a work in progress. Fruit is easier since it's sweet, but i'm all about limiting too much sugar.

Love the photos, as usual, and your scarecrow girl is a doll. Like you.

Happy weekend.

I love scarecrow girl. I hope they don't eat her hand and arms too haha. She is very cute and so are you goats.

Yummy! I love pistachios. I've not seen those Yoplait goodies, yet. My addiction right now is Greek Yogurt. Oh...soooo goood!

Sorry you're having to say goodbye to your two goaties. I hope the transition goes smoothly and they are happy in their new home.

Congrats on the weight loss, you two!

Congrats to both of you! I just had Synvisc One injections to both knees, so hopefully the pain will soon be reduced so I can go walking again and lose some weight myself. Thanks for the tip about Yoplait Delights - I'll probably have to wait until I make a run to the Big Town to shop, but I'm definitely going to try them. And I didn't know pistachios are more powerful than green tea! Cool.

I know you'll miss your goaties, but you have plenty left to look after.

Did you make Scarecrow Girl? She's great.
