Most all that snow melted today and now we have March Mudness, an annual event here in the Appalachians. The kind of mud, one wrong move, and it will suck you in, never to be seen again.
We went to up to the lovely oasis above the inlaws where we plan to set our 5th wheel trailer, and this is the landscape that we found. Never seen so much dang mud in my life. We're supposed to be moving to a paradise for us and the farm animals. I can't show all this mud to the goats that would be baaaaaaaaad.

Wow! That's a lot of mud!
That's the one thing I hate about the spring thaw...M U D!
On the plus side, you can sell that antique truck for a gajillion dollars! ;)
Hmmmm - maybe you can add mud baths and facials to the amenities you'll offer campers!!! Just keep darling SweetPea away from that nasty, oozy stuff!!!

I am sorry to be laughing at your mud but your pictures make me see that you are laughing a little too. The thought of goats in mud is quite hilarious, I do not know any animal that is so pansy about mud as the goat. Our sheep, cows, horses, pigs (of course), chickens, dogs all handle the obvious. Even our cats will trudge through mud! I'm sorry that your goats will have to deal with mud.
Oh my goodness! That poor hog! Hope he's okay, Joanna. We saw a wild hog in the woods on our walk today. Funny coincidence.
