Appalachian Snowfall in Boone, NC

Took a few snow pics this morning. Weatherman says we'll get more snow tonight. A snow-covered birds nest in the Mountain Ashe tree.

Mother Natures way of decorating.

How beautiful! I saw your dogs tromping around in the snow this morning - they looked like they were having a blast! I took Sam out about an hour ago and all he wanted to do was eat the snow.

I can't believe how big Sweet Pea is! When did that happen? And I was sorry to hear you sold so many chickens, but I can understand the over-crowding. We'll have to get over there some time this week to see who's left.

send some of that snow eastward! LOL We are having cold winds but I would love to have some snow. Hopefully this weekend when we go to my daughter's in Tennessee I will see snow.

Beautiful! We're getting a touch of the white stuff today but nothing is sticking. How do the birds like your Mountain Ash? It's a pretty tree.

Your pictures are beautiful...especially the one with the bird nest and berries!

Thanks for stopping by to visit me and for your sweet comment!

p.s. You wouldn't have to pay me...I'd help you decorate for free if we were close!

Beautiful pictures! I know it won't be long until we get some of the white stuff here that sticks too. Northern and Western Kansas always gets more snow than we seem too though.
