Early, our Cuckoo Marans rooster. See the crocous in the background.
Nigerian Dwarf Dairy goat, Clara. She going to be a mommie in midMay. Isn't it darling how goats set on their knees? I love goat knees.

I am going to have to get some of those Marans, those dark brown eggs are beautiful.
Love that first shot with the crocuses in the background!
I can't remember when I last saw crocuses - they're such a beautiful blue. I have jonquils in bloom outside my kitchen, but would love the other colors. Clara is also blooming. And your eggs are so colorful as well!

Wonderful pictures as usual. Clara looks like she is taking life easy. I love that picture of the rooster with the flowers in the background, nice!
I told Trouble she has a Godmother now and she wanted to know if you were up for babysitting in a couple weeks? ;) Poor Trouble is due in two weeks and she is really big, all the goats went up to the big pasture yesterday and when I called them all the younger...less pregnant does ran back down and left poor Trouble behind. I guess all that elder respect and herd mentality goes out the window when they hear the word "treats". She did make it back down to the house, and I gave her extra treats.
Gosh, those dark chocolate brown eggs are gorgeous. They stun me every time I see them. Lovely!
I saw the first crocus of the year today! Spring is almost here!
That first shot is a keeper.
