This has been hanging on my house for many years.
take joy in every creature
embrace them
as brother and sister
Looking straight ahead are the goats pens and bamboo leaning over.
my front yard, actually Mark, our tenant, lives on this side.
Brawn, our male Irish Terrier. got a "shear" this week
Blissi in front and Brawn in the back
Blissi got sheared too
Brawn. don't get Irish Terrier's unless you know what you're getting in to. much rowdiness. do NOT mix with farm animals.
here's the greatest dog ever, Henry, my 16yr old who got a haircut too. Henry says the haircut was very bad timing.
I know it is a pretty snow but I'm about to jump out of my skin. SPRING please come.

Hey dogs, how do you say brrrr?
Here there is always a sprint of incredibly wonderful weather in February, near summer temps and better than summer clear skies. In the past, because I can't remember well, I would shave my dairy goats during this delightful weather, only to have winter return sometime mid April! They were appalled the first year and threatening mutiny when I forgot and did it the second year. Goats can bleat out some bad words.
The snow is beatiful, but I'm tired of snow by now. The dogs look very handsome!
Hey, we are getting snow down here in upstate SC, too.
Yours is pretty. Maybe we'll get that much too. The kids are hoping so too!
We are suppose to get a small amount. Yours looks so lovely that you can just send it on down this way. Stay warm!!
Great pictures of your dogs! Love 'em! The snow is pretty but we are tired of it too. Of course, the folks in Georgia got some today and for them it's rare, so they are having fun I am sure.
I love the animal saying you have on that plaque. That's my sentiments, exactly!
Love the plaque too. Miss Chef and I have been looking for St. Francis statue for our garden, but haven't found one with a little bowl for seed.
Check out my blog for my intitial NC snow report! It didn't start here until dusk; I'm hoping to get more pics tomorrow morning.
Winter just had to have the last word didn't it. Beautiful pictures. I know that is so easy to say while there is no snow on the ground here! Be careful if you have to drive anywhere in that!
I'm with you - snow is driving me batty-er.... what beautiful dogs!
Brrr...and I am already cold as I sit here!!! But, Joanna, those are beautiful pics. I love your dogs!
Gorgey photos as usual - absolutely postcard perfect. Joanna, you have a gift.
It was sunny and 82 degrees here on Saturday. Larry and I went back to Guana and rode our bikes on the trails. Today it's sunny, but cold again. Even Floridans are wanting a little consistent warm. It's on the way - our trees are already greening up.
PS: Cute pups!
The dogs look great in their new doos (is that a word?) but they also look pretty cold! Kind of like washing your car then having it rain! Your snow photos are gorgeous. I was so excited yesterday when I finally got my wish and huge, fluffy flakes started falling here in ATL before noon. We got a good bit of it, covering everything. Had to go out today around noon - mostly melted, of course, but a sheet of it still left on my windshield. I am so easily entertained! Poor Diane didn't expect to find snow here.
I am really sorry about your camera, and hope you can replace it soon.
Nancy
