Thursday Goodies

God help the predator that tries to get between me and that face.

I always get a big greeting (they're looking to see if I have any goodies).

They've got me penned, looking for the goodies.

Goldie and Punkin looking for goodies.

Our neighborhood is surrounded by cow pastures.

The bucks playing around.

The goat girls looking.

Nigerian Does - SweetPea, June, and Clara - baby, mama, grandma.

Nigerian Bucks - MilkDud and Nougat - son and father. We couldn't afford MilkDud's mama, Arianna. Check out THAT udder Diane.

Buttin' around.

This Bourbon Red girl laying an egg and hissing at me. I better git!

i LOVE the first pic! they are all cute of course but that is my favorite.
and yes- for the most part the tomato juice + body wash + dog shampoo got rid of the skunk smell. oh, and i sprinkled vinegar on all of them too.

Silly boys! They look like they're having fun buttin' heads. Sweet Pea has such an adorable face! I could smooch that velvety nose all day! Lucky you!

Turkey hens hiss at you when they're laying? Some of my chooks scold me but I just ignore them and reach under them anyway.

Oh, there you go with your pictures again, giving me chicken envy! What kind are the dark ones? They are gorgeous!

Dark chickens are Cuckoo Marans. We also have Wheaten Marans and Faverolles. Goldie and Punkin are Favies.

They're all beautiful! Especially SweetPea. I'll bet Diane loved the udder pics of Ariane!

I was going to ask what kind of chickens Goldie & Punkin were, they are beautiful and Sweet Pea just has the most adorable goat face ever!

As always, great pics! I love the kids fighting on the spool. Nothing better than seeing them play. :)

Joanna, when you notice your adorable little goat (Sweet Pea?) missing from the herd, please don't come to Florida looking for her. Please don't. She won't be here. She won't be anywhere near my yard. Or in my garage. Or out on the pool deck with me in a goaty diaper. PS: I'm on my way to your farm right now.

Joanna, I am so way ahead of Alix on the way to get SweetPea. But of course, she won't be on my farm. I would suspect that she'll be on Diane's countertop.
